sinus and monthly

I do not understand why when my monthly is coming near my sinus gets affected my head starts to hurt, my left side of my head is what is mostly affected at this time it feels like I can not think one this is happening, I do take coumadin I have been taking this for a year for PT in the lungs. That is when this all started. Left side of my shoulder will get an cramp in it all the way up to my neck and extend to my leftside of my brain and then I am not able to function right or think straight, my head will hurt my nose will start to burn, my eyes will get red and burning, my face will get tense and then my menstration will come on a day later. Can any one give me in direction on this? I told my doctor about this and she seems have never heard of this.

I also suffer from monthly sinus, neck and shoulder/back pain that occurs around my monthly period.  I read your post while searching for answers via Google.  I experience this pain, mainly in my head, for a few days - nonstop!  One thing, the only thing that has helped me is trigger point therapy.  Unfortunately for me, the only practitioner on the island where I live (in Hawaii) moved to Washington state!  If you have the opportunity, give trigger point therapy a try.

Hi,

The symptoms appeared right after you started taking the coumadin or has this been present way before you started on the drug?

Is this always of the same character ?

Is this always associated with the onset of the menses?

Have you had coagulation tests assessed lately? PT/ INR, PTT?

Have you any vascular insufficiencies? Have you been assessed along this line?

Any allergies?

How do the symptoms resolve? Spontaneously?
