Could you please help me to understand my kid's MRI report? Many Thanks,

My kid was diagnose as Benign Rolaindic Epilepsy at age of 6 when he had one seizure before went to sleep. He did EEG test only and the doctor made the conclusion.
5 years after, which is last month, when we were having supper, he had one seizure again. It last about one minute. This time, the emergency asked MRI to be performed. He did regualr MRI and the contrast one.

I actually talked to the MRI doctor when I was called to do the contrast  test. I was terrified and cried. Then I rushed to children's hospital and begged to see hthe doctor. Then he told me that he found a 2mm area signal increase but shouldn't be tumor so I don't need worry and over reaction. Here is the report.

Can you please explain it to me what it is. We are in Canada. The waiting timwe to see a specialiast is always very long. Our appointment to see the neurologist specialist will be end of the month. But as a mom, I really really want to know it the earlier the better. MANY THANKS!!

.

No definite intracranial abormality is seen,

2mm in diameter punctuate t2 signal increase in the right frontal subcortical white matter without contrast enhancement
whcih is nonspecific. Radiological findings most likely in keeping with atypical perivascular space. However, early neoplastic process cannot rule out. If clinically needed followup MR suggested

Kindly don’t worry, go for a follow up (control) MRI during the coming period, 6-12 months.
This is totally benign; please try to avoid some foods, those you can find the list on internet.
