Possibly anti-phospholipid syndrome. Don't know much about it, so can't help you there.
Hi,
How are you?
APLA as rightly mentioned is antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. It is now known as PAPS (primary antiphospholipid syndrome). It is characterized by presence of lupus anticoagulant and anticardiolipin antibody in the patient’s serum.
It can present as recurrent pregnancy loss, arterial or venous thrombosis, autoimmune disease, cardiac valvular disease and neurologiocal disorders.
Low dose steroids, aspirin and plasmapheresisare the treatment options.
