Do you have any muscle twitching?
Thank you so much for shedding a little light on my concerns!!! I have been experiencing alot of pain, numbness in my face, tinglyness going down my arms and legs to my finger tips and toes also with numbness. I was never spoken to about my MRI results by my Dr so I just out the MRI results aside as if they were nothing important! My chiropractor mentioned to me that he knew I had something wrong in my c3/c4 and c4/c5 area and by gosh he was right!!! I recently was packing to move to a new home and came across my MRI results and started googling anything I could about my results and I found something that was similar to what you have mentioned to me as well! So I have now made an appointment with another Dr so that I can deal with this matter in the health care proffession! Thank You so very very much!!!! Happy Holidays and God Bless You!!! = )
Thank you for your question. Although I would suggest that your doctor should interpret your report and explain findings in the correlation with other clinical information about you, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about the concern.
Osteophytes are new bone formation and this occurs when vertebrae degenerate and loose shock absorbing capacity. Therefore, osteophytes formation may be associated with nerve compression and requires a doctor’s opinion for medications or surgery. You may also experience pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in extremities or neck. I would suggest consulting a neurologist as well in order to reach at probable diagnosis here. Hope this information proves helpful to you.
