Since we cannot assume anything, we do not know if there was any trauma or head injury associated with neck pain, etc. We need to wait for the OP to get back to the thread to advise appropriately, but he/she should seek medical attention.
As your original post was in the cervical forum, I presume that you are experiencing pins and needles somewhere as a result of your neck problem.
If so, the reason for experiencing thesel sensations is because the nerves around the spinal column are being compressed or pinched either through degeneration of the vertebrae (the spinal bones), slipped or bulging discs or formation of osteophytes.
You really do need to see your doctor to get xrays or other imaging done to find out what problems you have with your spine and discuss with your doctor any remedies that may be available for you.
Sometimes there is no remedy, but the condition is managed through the proper physiotherapy exercises, neck traction, pain relief and anti-inflammatory medications or anti-inflammatory gels that are rubbed into the area. Some people will seek help through acupuncture, massage or manipulation by a chiropractor.
Hope that answers your query, but please be more specific when posting questions in any of the forums so that you can get the correct answers.
Best wishes.
Could you give me more information as to what the problem is and I'd be happy to help you? You don't mention in your post what the problem or symptoms are.
