Hi, Thank you for your question. Brown Sequard Syndrome occurs due to lateral cutting of the spinal cord resulting into paralysis and ataxia. Treatment will depend upon the causative factors of the syndrome. If this has happened due to any gun shot or knife, it can be life threatening and require immediate and long term medical assisstennce. If this is due to spinal fracture, conservative and symptomatic treatment options can be adopted. Hope this helps.
