Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I can not tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

What type of anesthesia did your pediatrician use? Typically local anesthesia, such as lidocaine, will not have systemic effects. It is possible that the stressful event may have exacerbated his underlying neurological injury.

If your son is worse than before, he should be evaluated by a neurologist/doctor who knows him best. He may need additional therapy.

Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions, I hope you find the information I have provided useful, good luck.

Hi doc, its local anesthesia but i dont know what kind. By the way, my son is a pre mature baby, i labored so early @ 7 mnths on my pregnancy, my doctor give me duvadilan medicine to prevent the contraction, but then my water broke and when they took my water sample in the lab to check, they found out that my baby already poop, so my ob gyne induced me. When the baby came out, he,s only 3.8 lbs, he stayed almost 2 mnths in the hospital.in the hospital, he was oxygined, NGT, and incubated. When he,s growing i asked my pedia why his development is slow like he still cant roll, stand or walk, but she told me that, maybe he,s late coz he,s a premature, until i went to a physichiarist that my concern was addressed. Is there any technology or meds that can help CP children? Thank you very much for replying on my question, i truly appreciate it :-)
