Saw a neurologist about 7 months ago for numbness, tingling head sensation and feeling of weakness and pass all manual tests fine but when I was about to have MRI of brain, had to cancel as discovered I was pregnant.
My symptons did ease off and for about 2 months I felt fine but since mid August I can often get the feeling of numbness on left hand side of face - but it is not numb as I can still feel everything on that side of face and in the last 4 weeks, the constant pressure feeling on left hand side of my head above my ear. It doesn't really hurt but sometimes it can feel like earaches, or even toothache (but feels like travelling down from brain and not quite reaching teeth). It rarely goes away but it can move around, for example like a tight band across forehead, or going from back to front of left hand side of head but the main source seems to be the top left hand side above my ear.
My eye sight is fine, my balance is fine, I don't have any weakness and I can sleep ok (apart from pregnancy relestness) and when setting off to sleep, I feel my head hurts that bit more when I am sleeping on my left side than when sleeping on my right side but then it wears off and I am fine for rest of night.
I have been told no MRI till baby is born but I do worry that I have allowing a tumour to grow and that perhaps I should insist on having an MRI despite risk to unborn baby as I want to be able to bring my baby up. This is something that I am constantly worrying about.
