I was unable to tolerate the EMG test. The first electrode was put on my ankle and once it started I felt like I was in the electric chair. The doctor said she had never seen that kind of reaction in the 27 years of practice. What does this mean?
The only thing I can assume from the physician's statement is that this is NOT a normal response. I had one myself and though it is uncomfortable I completed the testing.
