I am not an alcoholic. I was medically mismanaged when I went in for a gall bladder surgery 2 years ago. Post surgery complications arose and I collapsed (comatose) on 60th day. Neurosurgeon checked and discovered I lack thiamine. I am now on thiamine tablets 3 times/day and an injection/month. My memory is getting better by the day but physical strength still 30% prior to my hospital care. Any chance of a full recovery ?
