Hello,
Im a man, 26 years old.
Last november 2017 I noticed fasciculations in my right vast medial muscle.
It was pretty constant and it went away on its own a week after.
After that, I noticed small fasciculations in both gastrocnemius and soleus muscles of both legs.
Since that, fasciculations got more diffused, I have them in feet, hands, face, neck, legs, eyelids and sometimes abdomen.
They are constant in my calves muscles and are more intense after sports or a walk or when I am tired. They appear at rest and disappear when I'm using my muscles.
Theses days they are more frequent and tend to be more present.
I saw my doctor who ran blood tests. They look at my phosphate, sodium, potassium, creatinine kinase, magnesium, FSH levels. The labs came back normal. My doctor (GP) talked to a neurologist and said I had nothing to worry about. When I saw my doctor, I had normal reflex, no atrophy.
I don't have any muscle weakness, but I feel like my muscles get tired easier.
I am very afraid and worried that this could be a motor neuron disease such as ALS. It makes me very anxious.
I am a podiatric medical student and I am sometimes very tired since theses studies are very demanding.
What should I do and what could it be?
Thanks for your help!
