German measles and hemiplegic CP

When i was 16 months, i had fever and i was unconcious for couple days. my parents brought me to the hospital and the doctor found that i had german measles infection. He gave me the injection to cure it, but when my parents brought me back home, they found out i can't walk and there are weakness on my right side body.7 years ago, i went to see the specialist, he told me i suffered from hemiplegic CP.
Can anyone let me know is there any connection between german measles and hemiplegic CP.

Hi,

Thanks for writing back.
Surgery and baclofen infusions will only help with the spastic symptoms of cerebral palsy but will not provide a cure.
Baclofen is a muscle relaxant which helps in reducing muscle spasticity. Surgery is usually done to loosen the tight muscles and release fixed joints. Surgery can also be used to cut nerves which will provide relief from spasticity.
Please check the link below it has some useful information.
