Hi, when my neurologist came in and told me my MRI and Spinal Puncture results were normal even though the report (and the neurologist at the hospital) mentioned I had a cyst or fluid like substance in my spine. I do not trust his answers. My spinal chord color was pink and my RBC count was 433/mm3 while the average is supposed to be 0-10/mm3. He said that is normal due to the needle puncturing gets blood in the spine. Normally I would say ok but I am assuming the average of 0-10/mm3 would include the little blood from the needle or the average would be higher. So my question is is 433/mm3 excessively high? The report said it is so wondering why my doctor said it was normal. Thanks.
