Dear Doctor:
Thank you for your reply. I will for sure go for second opinion.
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. Well, if the slipped disc or herniated or protruded disc is not going back in place, you may need surgery. However, you could try spinal manipulation, traction, physiotherapy, back exercises etc along with pain killers to see if it is helping the disc fall back in place. If your symptoms decrease appreciably by these measures then you may not need surgery.
However, you will need to avoid strenuous activities, lifting and pushing heavy things, high impact sports etc. Please take second opinion from another specialist who can examine you. Take care!
The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
