Hit in the face by the lid of a garbage bin-have severe arm and hand pain.

A strong wind caught the lid of my rolling garbage bin and smashed it sqaurely into my face. I was holding the handle of the bin with both hands and when it hit my face my head/neck snapped back. I immediately let go of the bin and sat down to grab my face. Immediately I felt a red hot burning sensation from the inside of my arm at the bend of the elbow directly down to my hands. The tops of my hands felt like they were on fire and are very sensitive to air, touch and cool water. Its been about 12 hours and the intense pain is in the distal bicep area(bilateral) and the top of my hands from the thumbs to the third fingers. The palms and baby fingers are unaffected. I have minimal neck and shoulder pain. No vision issues. No dizziness. Any advice?
