There is straightening of the cervical spine.
Height and alignment of the cervical vertebral bodies is maintained. Signals from the marrow of the vertebral bodies are normal.
Osteophytosis seen at C4-5 and C5-6 levels.
Intervertebral disc dessication seen at C3-4 to C5-6 levels.
Mild broad based posterior disc bulge seen at C5-6 level, effacing the anterior CSF sleeve and compressing the right C5 exiting nerve root.
Mild broad based disc bulge also seen at C4-5 level, partially effacing the anterior CSF sleeve and indenting the lateral recesses.
IMPRESSION: MRI findings are suggestive of cervical spondylosis seen as ;
1. Straightening of the cervical spine with osteophytosis.
2. Mild broad based posterior disc bulge at C5-6 level, effacing the anterior CSF sleeve and compressing the right C5 exiting nerve root.
3. Mild broad based disc bulge at C4-5 level, partially effacing the anterior CSF sleeve and indenting the lateral recesses.
