Loss of strength and sensation on left side of body

Hi,

I hope all are as well as can be!

I was hoping someone could help me further with my enquiry;

I have been seeing a Neurologist now for a few months concerning a few symptoms I have been getting on the left side of my body.

About a year ago, the muscle on my back just under my shouder blade started stinging (felt like an open wound) and eventually went almost completely numb. I now don't have the pain, but it almost feels as if the muscle isn't there.
I then started getting other symptoms, such as waking up with a cramped left calf muscle, tingling and cold feelings down my left leg and arm. One day I have very painful pins and needles in the tips of my fingers.
These things come and go (the pins and needles haven't returned), But I have a constant slight lack of strength in my left arm and leg, and it feels as if they get tired a lot quicker than the right side. I also get very sore left shoulder muscles (as if they are knotted) and  a slight pain on the left side of my neck.
Other things I get on the odd occasion are twitches to my neck, twitches to my bicept and a feeling of blood rushing to the sole of my foot if I've been standing on it for a while and then pick it up.

My Neurologist wasn't that interested until, when he raised my arms, looking for a pulse, he could not find one on my left wrist, this led him to get an MRI scan, some sort of needle testing, and doppler of my neck (to test for lack of oxygen to brain). All test have come back normal and he is reffering me to another Neurologist for a second opinion.

My symptoms are only occasionally very painful, but the constant lack of strength, and the feeling that it takes longer for my left side to heal than it does my right is very concerning for me.

One other thing to note, but I just wanted to put it as a side note as I'm not sure how connected it might be, but I have a sore to touch 'patch' on the left side of my rib cage that is the same height as the muscle that has almost completely lost sensation. I have the strangest feeling that this has something to do with it, so I was wondering what suggestions re tests you may consider to see if there's something coming from there that may be causing these symptoms.

Thanks for reading and if you need any more info, please ask.

Rich
