Thank you for ur responses. Final impression states,
right periventricular nonenhancing focus which most likely reflects a prominent perivasculsr space. Other considerations such as migraines vasculitis or demyelinating disease are considered much less likely.
Polypoid mucosal disease within the left maxillary sinus.
Let me guess...Having head pain checked out?...Let me see if I can interpret some...
Right periventricular - means the area around your right brain ventricle (an area in the middle of your brain filled with cerebral-spinal fluid that acts like a cushion for the brain.)
Polypoid mucossal diease in the left maxillary sinus -Chronic swelling and tissue buildup (polyps?) in your left upper sinus (cheekbone) area.
White matter of the parietal lobe...Oviod...Means a oval-shaped spot that stands out on the right side of your brain. Many causes for this, but when it appears different than the surrounding tissue, it can be concerning...I'm afraid I can't share more without guessing as my knowledge in radiology is pretty limited. I hope all goes well for you...(((((HUGZ)))))))~mm
Tell them you don't speak Dr. and that you want it in English.
What does the "Final Impression" state on the bottom of
the report?
