MRI result

Hi i just had MRI of the brain w/ & w/o contrast done & this is the result--multiple subcortical white matter change wch i s unusual for age. A single or reticular white matter focus is identified. No abnormal enhancement noted. My history-- i have this left eyelid twitching triggered by sneezing & upon opening my eyes especially after a tight squeeze. It is also associated with moderate- severe headache concentrated in the area around the left eye ,alleviated by tylenol at times.I am 35yo asian female.I am just worried this might be something serious.  I saw a neurologist who ordered this MRI & a comprehensive metabolic panel which was negative & who thought this is just a benign blepharospasm (but that was prior to the MRI). I have yet to see him again. I am just worried this might be something serious like a demyelinating disease such as MS or the like. Can you help me interpret the MRI results? Ty

Did you get a chance to find out from your neuro? Not a Dr but does not sound like MS but neuro would have to verify that along with the MRI. call his office and just ask for quick word

Hi...can understand ur stress and anxiety over this, but I do believe if it were demyelination it would say so in the report.

I can only suggest u stop by the MS forum here on MedHelp and ask them about their repsorts it may ease ur mind.

Godspeed
