MRI results with low conus medullaris

My son recently had an MRI done.  The findings indicated that he has a boarderline low conus medullaris with a fatty filum terminale.  There was no evidence of thickening or lipoma.  Is this something that should be corrected?

Gabe has a left club foot that continues to regress inward and has become tight.  He has inward rotation of the left leg as well.  I don't think he has any bladder issues just the occasional dribble in the underpants and the grunting to get the pee out.  Bowel, I think he has hard stools alot he has to push hard sometimes never constipated though.

Hello.

How old is your son? Does he have specific symptoms? Low conus medullaris is seen in Tethered Cord Syndrome.

Normally, the spinal cord is free inside the spinal column. And bending movements allow the spinal cord to slide a bit and adjust to the movements. If the cord is tethered to the bones, it can not move. A bending movement will bring on sharp pain in the lower back or down the lower limbs. You can try this at home, with care.
