My main complaint is headache (primarily forehead and temple area and pain in the middle of the scalp) from last 2 years with no other side effects. When headacke comes, the area around the eyes and ears also getting pain. In the day time I am feeling sleepy and lot of yawning. When I consulted the Orthopedic doctor, he diagnosed mild servical spondylosis after taking X ray. But I have no neck pain in the beginning (November,2011), but I am experiencing continuous headache and mild neck pain. The doctor prescribed medicines like Alprox 0.25 mg, Cap Engaba, Tab Ostflex OD for 10 days. During the period of usage of these medicines, I got some relief but the headache still remains. Then as per advise of Doctor, I underwent physiotherapy for 1 week and doing exercises for the neck. I underwent MRI scan for spain with the following result.
* Cervical spondylosis with mild degenerative changes of intervertebral discs.
* Mild posterior annular bulging of C3/4 intervertebral disc which along with marginal osteophytes is seen causing indentation over the thecal sac and narrowing of bilateral neural foraminae, leading to minimal impingement of exiting nerve roots.
* Mild narrowing of bilateral neural foraminae at C4/5 and C5/6 levels from adjacent disc bulges. No obvious compression of cord or nerve roots.
I have also taken MRI scan of brain but no abnormality found. Then finally the doctor prescribed Vitamin D test and the result was deficient Vitamin D level of 9.4. Then he prescribed UPRISE 60000 k capsules weekly once for 8 weeks. I have used for 2 weeks till now.
Present position : Meanwhile I am doing yoga exercises for the specific problem with some improvement in headache but neck stiffness continues. I am also having tingling pain in one hand and palm.
Can anyone suggest me further course of action.
