Yeah. You're probably right. You have a funny way of putting it. I LOL when I saw it. Seriously, though. Noise does give me a great deal of distress unless I can prepare myself for it beforehand.
It's called "me, myself and I" syndrome.
They key diagnostic feature is "mostly from her immediate family".
Common to adolescents of all nationalities.
She's probably too old for a spanking.
Oh well... In a short time she'll be out of the house with a hubby, three babies, and you will miss her being around, and even her silly complaints.
I have a strong preference for complete silence and only enough light to see what I am doing. I could live like that indefinately. Obviously, when my husband comes home or the grandkids come to see grammie, I must psyche myself up. Light hurts my eyes. Sound makes me nervous. The louder the sound, the more nrevous. I am no Dr. but I can tell you, with me it is just a need for as much solitude as possible, and to prevent nervousness with the sound, The noise prevents migraines and I wear sunglasses indoors if it gets very bad.
Here is one thing to consider. Even when the television is off and nobody has music on, and nobody is talking, the refrigerator hums, the computer makes a bit of noise with its little fan, the deep freeze, if you have one, the heat or air, the microwave, the hot water heater, toilet., etc. Turn everything off and just listen to the noise. Some people just need more silence. She may just be a nervous little girl. This is just from my perspective. Also, while I say that I do not like light, I must also tell you that I am morbidly afraid of the dark. Absolute darkness, that is.
