Hemmorage or pseudotumor??

So 12 days ago I was admitted to hospital for a "headache".  Only it never ached.  Just intense pressure!  It started about 3 weeks prior to that.  I bent down to get a Lego before mowing.  I thought a neighbor kid hit me on the back of the head.  I even turned around to yell at him.  Nobody was there?!?

Took Tylenol as it ached that day a wee bit.
Then each day seemed to add a little pressure.  Lots of dizzy spells.  Ear stuffyness.  Poppin ears to try fixing it to no avail.   Eye pressure feeling.  Thought tension tried running it off, drinking water, every thing I could think of to get rid of it.  Even benedryl and sudafed.

On that Friday I woke up with such pressure.
They doped me up.  I told them I wanted pressure gone not pain killers.  They did MRI w and wo contrast and CT.  Not much there (Praise God!).  Only few small foci on frontal lobe white matter.  And check in 6 mon for any significance.  And .05 x .05 cm cyst on right ganglia.  So pretty good I suppose.  I spent next 3 days laying flat on my back.  Medication maybe.  Or the pressure gets to me.  The nuero in hospital thinks I kinked my neck ( though no neck pain).  Family doc (the admitting doc) thinks viral menigitis.  But never did spinal.  I don't see neuro for 6 days for follow up.
I'm on Levitrin (sp?) It has muscle relax, tylenol, and caffiene.  Suppose to take amitripline at bed but it wakes me up with chest feeling like my kid is sitting on me.  So I stopped that after a few day.  Worried as I'm having gallbladder removed in 13 days (Finally).  And pressure only "resolves" after sleeping before getting out of bed.

Thank you for replying.  The pressure is subsided for a little today.  Now it feels like a sinus headache only on the side of my head that I felt the pop.

I've never had headaches before, (at least not without runny nose or the like).

I went up on the mountains last wednesday (traveling for the 4th to family)and passed out from the pressure.  My speech was slurred beforehand and I my face went numbish. Shrugged it off as medicine (some random muscle relaxer)and stopped taking it.  Got off mountain, my head was pulsating almost like the pressure release a little down my neck.  No appetite that night, couldn't stand much felt like a virus.   What have I done????  I've had 6 kids (9 and under) and have been able to "push through" every cold/flu, sleep deprivation.  Everything was going great until this headache.  (Well gallstone pancreatitis wasn't fun.)

I would bring this pressure issue up to the neurologist when you have your appt. The only way to know if you have high pressure is to check it with a lumbar puncture. Then depending on the result, there are meds and/or surgical options. And then there is sinus pressure which is whole different deal. CSF Pressure headaches are treated in a different way than migraines. So if you are suffering, it is worth finding out. Also it is important to have a neuro opthamologist look at your eyes to check your optic nerve too. Good luck.
