Neurological cause for joint pain?

Too many back surgeries have left me with Arachnoiditis, which I understand quite well, and thanks to modern medicine, I can manage the pain.  I can mark of those symptoms like entries on a bad grocery list.  There is one symptom that effects my entire body that I don't understand, and after running the standard and not so standard Rheumatoid panels, my doctors don't understand either. I don't have osteoarthritis either. What I seem to have is a joint issue that began with my knees sub-locating in my sleep, but I am now experiencing a similar pain in my shoulders, elbows, and finger joints.  I don't spend much time of the computer anymore, but the slightest thing can cause aggravation that lasts for days, even weeks, and never totally goes away. I now get help with dressing and bathing because the motion of putting on a shirt can make things worse. Can joint pain be caused by a neurological issue?  Any idea of where I might go for answers? Any ideas at all would be helpful.  I don't know where to post my questions anymore.

Look up a condition call Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I suffer from it and it sounds like you do too.
Hypermobile joints, chronic pain, frequent dislocations/subluxations, muscle spasms, neurological problems.... And many many more symptoms. Please look it up.

Thank you for your ideas on what could cause the pain in my joints.  Many have already been ruled out, but you gave me a good list to pursue here.  Too bad I can't just hand it over to my doctor.  I once had a doctor I could do that with, but my insurance changed, and I had to find a new doctor.  I have an ileostomy, so the thought that a vitamin deficiency is a possibility is more likely than it might be for someone who didn't have so many dietary rules to live by.  I do take supplements, but question whether they really absorb into my body any better than nutrients from foods do.
Thanks for giving me a place to start.  I'll narrow down the list, and then try to find a doctor who us willing to go through it with me.
Thank you!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Multiple joint pain also is seen in fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, low Vitamin D levels, Low Vit B12 levels, anemia, Hashimotos thyroiditis, gout (can sometimes cause multiple joint pain), rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, SLE or lupus, electrolyte disturbance particularly those involving calcium and magnesium, parathyroid gland problems, chondrocalcinosis and chronic fatigue syndrome. Menopause or menopause like condition caused by PCOD is often associated with Vit D, calcium and hormonal disturbances and this causes multiple joint pain. Please talk to your doctor regarding these and get yourself examined accordingly. Hope this helps. Take care!
