Hi,
The symptoms that you have mentioned suggest of nerve compression. It could be caused be a brain lesion in the occipital area or the back of the brain. Occipital area is related to vision also. Any pathology in this area causes a disturbance of vision. Numbness and tingling may be caused by anxiety that usually sets in when you start experiencing a health problem. Another cause of all these symptoms could be MS. Please go for MRI of the brain and spine. A series of MRI may be required to rule out MS. Please consult a neurologist for diagnosis and management of the symptoms. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
I am very hesitant to say this but, your symptoms are identical to those for MS(Multiple Sclerosis). However, on the other hand many neurological problems have very similar symptoms.
All of the symptoms that you have, are affecting areas that are controlled by your central nervous system (your brain and spinal cord). Thus, you need to see a Neurologist. MS is usually diagnosed by ruling out other diseases. An MRI of ther brain and spinal cord and a lumbar puncture(fluid is removed from your spine)it is not painful) should be performed.
With the exception of the temporary color blindness and the crackling and ringing in the ears, I have had all of the symptoms that you have.
y ears actually became overly sensitive to sound of any level/decibel. For me some these symptoms began in 1997 and additional symptoms occurred over a period of time.
My lumbar puncture was normal and I had only a couple
of white spots)possibly plaque) on my brain. The MRI results stated that the spots were non specific, which means that there is a sign of pathology (a disease, but the disease is not identified). At the present, my neurologist has not diagnosed me with MS! My situation is complicated by the fact thatI have a disc compressing on my spinal cord in my neck.
I hope that this informastion provides you something to go on.
