One time reading problem

Yesterday, I was reading an email and ran into several words I could not read (recognize). I got frustrated and went on to other non reading things. later in the day I decided to find those words and determine their meaning and found all words to be perfectly readable. What happened? I'm in great health and anTtis is the first time in my 75 years it has happened.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out for anything more. For your information, 2 yrs ago I had mitral valve repair and an pacemaker installed (my already slow heart rate got erratic after the surgery). Now I'm taking one full sized aspirin every am. Also have been taking omega-3 (1300 mg) per day. Heading to get cod-liver oil now.

Sounds like a TIA. And a little "stroke".   Have you had any light sensitivity lately? Probably a dye-contrast MRI would be nice. The current drill is to recommend a baby aspirin a day. I would take daily supplements of cod-liver oil (a teaspoon a day) and a teaspoon of an omega-3. These things often happen for simple reasons like sitting in an airplane seat for too many hours. Next time it happen's I'd go to an emergency room.
