Tethered Spinal Cord

I had an accident 5 years ago and hurt my back severely. I had an mri this week. Do I have tethered cord?

  Hi...not being a medical professional I  can not tell u from ur MRI...and not ALL TCS show on a MRI this is y it may be referred to as Occulta TCS Occulta means hidden, so other methods are used to determine if a patient has TCS....they may look at the brain stem as it may be elongated, for a sacral dimple (usually occurs with congenital TCS) and a urodynamics test on the bladder.

Only ur Dr is going to be able to DX using the MRI and all the data collected from u and doing a physical exam.
