Ulna nerve Repair

On 16 of june 2007 i was in a physical aasault by robbers. my left hand was cut by a sharp knive( 4-5 cm deep). Then i went to B&B hospital(kathmandu nepal) and my ulna nerve was repaired by one of the senior doctor of the hospital. Now till today the movement of my fingers is all good but i dont have sense in my little finger and in that line in dorsal and ventral side.

Now my question is how long it takes for me to get my sensory of little finger back. Also i sometimes get shooting action in my little finger?

Please give me some feedback...

It can take up to a year from the surgery for your nerves to heal. Good luck. 3 months ins't long enough to be too concerned yet, especiall if you have good moter skills. God Bless

You have probably sustained permanent nerve damage. My opinion is that if you haven't regained feeling back by now, you won't. Nerve damage usually heals the most it is going to within one year. Thank goodness you weren't injured worse. If in doubt, maybe you could have a nerve conduction study done, which would identify the degree of loss. Good luck.
