About me:
I'm 32 years old, male and have had mild Vertigo symptoms for 9 months now. The symptoms of feeling like I just got off a boat are constant and happen 80% of the day, all day every day. I have never fallen over from it but it does greatly affect my quality of life.
About my medical past:
Had Bells Palsy in April 2014 on my left side of my face (MRI, CT, Xrays done to make sure it wasn't a stroke), cleared up by June/July 2014. Vertigo like symptoms started in August 2014.. I've been over weight 280 lbs, 5'10" with high blood pressure and have been taking Valsartan 320mg w/HCT 25mg along with Amlodipine 2.5mg (which was prescribed in August 2014). My most recent Primary Doc just switched me to Metoprolol Tarta 25mg and off of the Amlodipine to see if that was the cause of the Vertigo, sadly the symptoms are still there.
I've seen the:
ENT Doctor & Dizzy Specialist - All clear
Neurologist - All clear (no MRI performed)
Eye Doctor - 20/20 vision
3 Different Primary Doctors - Nothing stands out
I'm at a loss at what else I can do to help cure these symptoms... any suggestions would be helpful.
On a positive note I have been dieting, exercising as much as the vertigo allows for, and am down to 257lbs and counting. I'm hoping to be off all blood pressure meds by the time I get to 200lbs.
Thanks!
Mike
