Weakness

Had an emg performed and the neurologist said the muscles in my right arm take an extremly long time to react. I lost the strength already and my fingers are getting harder to hold out straight. My knuckle to my pointer finger closer to the palm of my hand is deformed and swelled. My right leg is giving my issues i trip a lot it always hits the ground before coming forward. I have an angina sypmtoms with paplations that get strong while at rest. Went to the physical therapist and the only answer I received was to start training my left arm for fine motor skills. The neurologis tripled my meds to 300mg neurontin 3 times a day. It doesnt help much just makes me dopey feeling. Sometimes its hard to breath and to get up can be a chore.. my arms and legs feel heavy. Just wondering if anyone else has these issues and if so what they found to be helpful..Thank you and have a great day.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
Please go for MRI of brain and spine, blood work, and spinal tap or lumbar puncture. Besides nerve compression in the back, neuromuscular diseases like Multiple sclerosis and ALS may be suspected to be the cause of your symptoms. Please discuss these possibilities with your neurologist and take a second opinion after the test results. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!

Why haven't they done an MRI of your cervical spine? Have you had a cardiac work-up?
