i really need some advice or i'm gonna go nuts before thursday. thats when i see the neuro surgeon.
now my fingers on my right hand are soooooo stiff and they feel broken. my legs are also very stiff. i'm wondering if somehow joint stiffness can come with my brain cyst?
Thank you for your question. Although without being able to placing your findings in context with clinical features and the results of other investigation such as hematological, MRI, I can not offer the specific advice & treatment you need. However, I will try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.
Cysts of brain can be congenital like arachnoid cyst, pineal cyst, epidermoid and dermoid cyst. Few cysts like colloid cyst may appear after trauma or CSF block. Some cysts like neurocysticercosis may occur after parasitic infection. Please arrange an appointment with a neurologist who will evaluate the further possibilities here and can provide you an appropriate treatment. Hope this helps.
well after looking at my picture, do u agree that this is possibly a choroid plexus cyst cause in my mri it says possible choroid plexus cyst.
i already have an appointment. after reviewing my scans they determined that i do not need a neurologist but rather a neuro surgeon. whats really the difference between a neurologist and a neuro surgeon?
and in your professional opinion, is my cyst in any kind of location to be causing my symptoms i've had for 6 months prior to the mri. so many surgeons claim that brain cysts have no relevence to ones symptoms so i'm curious is mine big enough and because it does have a mass effect; to cause any symptoms at all?
my whole body is getting very stiff and i'm have sharp shooting electric searing pains thru the right side of my brain. its also causing a stiff neck.
my appointments this thursday and i'm not sure i'm gonna make it without going to the e.r.! i'm not even sure if everythings related or seperate.
