Hi!
Since you have both fecal and urinary incontinence, and pain and numbness in both feet, one possibility that should be looked into is Pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) in which the pudendal nerve (located in the pelvis) is entrapped or compressed. Pain is worsened by sitting, and there is a sense of a foreign object (constant urge to urinate) in the urethra. In addition to pain, symptoms can include sexual dysfunction, impotence, fecal and urinary incontinence. Prostatitis-like urogenital pain and voiding are the hallmark of pudendal neuropathy. Diagnosis is by diagnostic block, MRI, CT scan, and Pudendal Nerve Motor Latency Test (PNMLT).
Other than this, since you also have hand tremors, the following should be looked into: lupus, polycythemia rubra vera, anti-cardiolipin antibody syndrome, stroke or transient ischemic attack, thyroid disease, and disorders of calcium, glucose or sodium metabolism. Brain stem or cerebellar disease including MS, spinocerebellar degenerations, vascular disease, and tumors can also be a cause. Pinched spinal nerve at cervical vertebrae too can be a cause. Please discuss these possibilities with your treating doctor (I know you have undergone extensive investigations but maybe something was missed). Take care!
The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
Wow! How awful for you! I know you said the lumbar puncture came back ok but have you not had any MRIs done to rule out other issues? CT scans can only see so much and the incontinence alone but combined with the tremors/pins and needles etc sounds like there must be more going on!! Push harder if you can for more testing... you must be very frustrated and scared! The best of luck.... and keep plugging away, you are too young for "nothing" an there are so many treatment options out there for many things. The start would be finding out what those "things" are!!
