migrane and pressure in head and behind eyes

i have been having terrible headaches for about four months now, but recently they have been increasing. It feels like pressure building up in my temples, the top of my head and behind my eyes. The pressure is a dull pain with some sharp pains here and there. i am tired all of the time, but when I do fall asleep i toss and turn. I have experienced mood swings and on occaision my vision will go blurry and i will become dizzy. it also hurts to move my eyes around. My temples, top of head , and eyes are sore to the touch.

your symptoms sound similar to mine.. though I usually think my headaches are part of neck problems due to a minor car accident in my childhood. I would definitely suggest going to a doctor to start getting on some tests to rule out anything life threatening.
My problems started in May 2007 and have only teased me periodically with going away. I have seen many doctors and gone for many tests. My latest thought is some sort of intracranial pressure for myself, which I plan to mention to my doctor when I see her again in 2 weeks and hope to get that tested for abnormalities. I feel like I will have to head back to the neurologist as the anxiety meds just haven't really helped.. unfortunately my neurologist is taking too many winter holidays and I have to wait until April.
I haven't really had the sleep problems you descibed.. as I just always feel very worn out, but I do find when I lay down that my eyes feel like they are shaking. Eventually I drift off to sleep though.

Hi...without ne testing it's difficult to speculate....u need to see ur dr.There r so many conditions with the same symptoms....u may want to start with a NL ......
