Had MRI of back and neck. These are the impressions: Mild loss of T2 and inversion signal within the L4/L5 and L5/S1 disk spaces consistent with disk desiccation. At the L5- S1 disk interspace level a small right paracentral disk herniation effacing the ventral epidural space is noted. Mild mass effect on the ventral surface of the the thecal sac is noted. the neural foramen is intact. Mild degenerative changes of the facet joints are noted. At the L4-L5 level mild bulging of the annulus fibrosis with minimal ligamentum flavum thickening and facet hypertropy is noted. At the C3-C4 level mild uncinate spurring with no focal disk herniation or cental stenosis is noted. At teh C5-C6 level mid uncinate spurring with underlying disk bulge is noted. No focal disk herniation or central stenosis is noted. C6-C7 mild uncinate spurring with underlying disk bulge is noted.
Hello sam1681,
The foci could be due to vascular insufficiency as the age advances..l.Need not worry just maintain your blood pressure levels and blood sugar levels in normal range,do warm up exercises and eat nutritious diet. You should follow up your neurologist timely for follow up.
