muscle weakness

I have been complaining about muscle weakeness to my neurologist since last summer. At the beginning, he told me everything was ok. But, this year he realized that I have brisk reflexes, lack of balance. My brain MRI was ok. I am still worried because physical exercice makes me weaker. In addition, I have lower back pain, walking and writing issues. What may be my diagnostic. Please help me

Hi.

Your symptoms could be caused by several conditions, including a cerebellar disorder or a spine condition. It might be helpful to undergo a spine MRI to check for any underlying abnormality that would explain your symptoms.

Talk to your neurologist about this to consider or rule out a cerebellar disorder versus a spine condition as primary differential diagnoses.

Good luck.

i'm no doctor of course, but i woud suggest trying another neurologist or depending on how bad your back pain is, maybe a pain managment and anesethiologist. have someone check out the lumbar region of your spine! i just had 2 disc removed from my lumbar spine 1 1/2 mo ago. best of luck!
