Full body neuropathy with severe sweating

Looking back, my issues started about 4 years ago with my ears ringing.  It then started with tingling feet with numbness.  I now have sharp pokes throughout my body; feet, hands, eyes, tongue, torso and groin.  I also have spells where my head and face feel numb but there is no facial deformities.  I am taking 1800 Gabapentin and Cymbalt at night to help with the pain but still lie there for hours trying to sleep through it.  I have been tested for all the normal causes with nothing being diagnosed.  My biggest concern is my body overheating.  I haven't read any of the posts where even doing the slightest bit of work creates my body to feel like I have just run a mile, without the breathing, but sweat profusely.  Even drinking coffee or a hot meal will do the same thing.  Has anyone else encountered this?
