no help for daughter

My daughter is 15 months old and has been spacing off for a few months. Sometimes she even sleeps with her eyes open. She's been in the ER several times and admitted to the hospital once. Her ped doctor doesn't believe anything I say and makes it sound like my daughter is perfect and i'm crazy. Other family members have noticed things too and are worried but her doctor is not helping. She's had an eeg but they have to do another one because the first one was not done long enough and so many things have gone wrong with this hospital and doctor. I know that something is not right and her doc is making me feel like I need MY head examined. What can I do? Whats my rights? We're broke and don't know who to turn to.
thanks skippy555

If it was my child I would consult another pediatrician. A second opinion never hurts and doctors cannot refuse referrals. If you truely feel something is wrong be persistent. Make them do everything and anything they can to find what's wrong. They may do some tests that could put her in some pain though so you need to be prepared. I'm not sure what you can do about the financial side of this situation...All I can say is I would pay anything to make sure my child is healthy.
