Hi there, I just started getting this restless "body" thing a couple of days ago. I have a lot of physical problems (skeletal/nerve/muscles) but all have been diagnosed as arthritis, and sciatica. I am sitting here feeling like bugs are crawling all over my body and I can't sit still! Is making me crazy. Many herniated disks, spinal stenosis, Ferominal narrowing, and feet that hurt so bad that at times they go numb, and drag behind me. (hasn't happened a lot, but just started happening). I am being sent to a physiatrist. MRI's in spine show what's been there for 26 years and just got a little worse. My feet are flat, but show no signs (Per 2nd opinion) of fracture or collapse. Hurt all the time....and pain travels up my legs into hips and also arms and hands. I'm a bit of a mess. Certain tests do not seem to show anything. (PS: I'm not a hypochondriac... ;) ) Any ideas???

Hi there.

The brain is structurally an enclosed space with no room for air to form.  From what you have described, your symptoms can be a manifestation of both Parkinson's or Multiple sclerosis, but it is still rather premature to conclude without the benefit of tests like MRI scans.  Parkinson's would usually present as stiffness of gait and tremors more pronounced during rest.  MS would present with a variety of symptoms that can be diagnosed with characteristic MRI findings of the brain.  I suggest you have this looked at and assessed by your doctors and hopefully, together with imaging studies, come up with the proper diagnosis.

Regards and God bless.
