What DO I have? Muscle Twitching, Restlessness, anxiety

For the past couple months I have been experiencing many different things going on with my body. Let me start by telling you about myself. I am a 20 year old male, 6'2" 340 pounds, mild asthma, rare form of eczema, used to smoke but quit. I have nothing new in my life that would cause any stress or anything of that nature, these symptoms just basically came out of nowhere one by one and have slowly progressed into more and more. The first thing I started experiencing is a bit of chest pain and tightness, almost like an uncomfortable pressure. That lasted about a week and a half. I then began to experience irritability and severe muscle twitching that is most active at night. If I flex some muscles they get real shaky and I have a tough time trying to keep them still. Along with that came an intense itching all over my body that occurs at night just before I go to bed. I have also been very irritable and restless. I feel like I always need to keep a body part moving otherwise I feel extremely uncomfortable. I have also felt a bit of anxiety and the feeling of impending doom along with headaches and the occasional stomach ache. I still experience the chest pressure and lately all the symptoms have been coming at me all at once. I thought it may have been a Magnesium Deficiency so I started taking slow mag and it didnt help much and I have also started taking Multivitamins as well. Its getting to the point where its make me miserable and I feel I may have something serious but I dont have the money to see doctors. I also recently found a lump right under my left breast on the side of my ribcage. Its fine when its not bothered but when I touch it or mess with it it becomes very tender and causes quite a bit of discomfort for the entire day. I have also experienced some sudden palpitations of the heart and lately a faint burning sensation mostly in my extremities (arms legs) and my left knee has alot of pain and discomfort on occasion, almost like Restless Leg Syndrome. I am desperate for some answers and want this to stop asap. If you have any answers for me could you help me out and tell me what you think it may be?! this is my last hope, I just dont have the funds for insurance or to see a doctor. Thanks.

I don't think anyone on MedHalp can advise you since you have multiple symptoms. You need to see a doctor. Some of your chest problems may be caused by obesity.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
These neurological symptoms could be due to a chronic demyelinating condition called multiple sclerosis where the disease phase is characterized by active phase and remissions. It has multiple symptoms and signs and is a diagnosis of exclusion. The symptoms of multiple sclerosis are loss of balance, muscle spasms, numbness in any area, problems with walking and coordination, tremors in one or more arms and legs. Bowel and bladder symptoms include frequency of micturition, urine leakage, eye symptoms like double vision uncontrollable rapid eye movements, facial pain, painful muscle spasms, tingling, burning in arms or legs, depression, dizziness, hearing loss, fatigue etc. The treatment is essentially limited to symptomatic therapy so the course of action would not change much whether MS has been diagnosed or not. Apart from clinical neurological examination, MRI shows MS as paler areas of demyelination, two different episodes of demyelination separated by one month in at least two different brain locations. Spinal tap is done and CSF electrophoresis reveals oligoclonal bands suggestive of immune activity, which is suggestive but not diagnostic of MS. Demyelinating neurons, transmit nerve signals slower than non-demyelinated ones and can be detected with EP tests. These are visual evoked potentials, brain stem auditory evoked response, and somatosensory evoked potential. Slower nerve responses in any one of these is not confirmatory of MS but can be used to complement diagnosis along with a neurological examination, medical history and an MRI in addition, a spinal tap. Therefore, it would be prudent to consult your neurologist with these concerns. Take care.
