shock!

I'm experiencing shocks starting at my ankle travelling up to my shin in my right leg. I don't have to be doing anything in particular, it just comes and goes.

Hello.

Walking does not cause such a problem. But, yes, if you have recently increased the activity, the extra stress might have been the cause. It may be improperly fitting or uncomfortable shoes.

Please watch out for it and observe if it comes. If it does, try changing the shoes.

i only had it for a day, its gone now. i didn't hurt it. i have been walking my children to school for the last 5 1/2 months, half an hour in the morning and then again in the afternoon. but just recently i began walking another 45-60 minutes in the early evening. could that be the cause?

Hello.

How long have you been having this experience ?

Do you remember hurting your ankle ?

The sensation of shocks can be due to neuropathy. Since it does not have any particular trigger, I suspect a neuropathic cause.

Have you consulted a neurologist yet ?
