Was my EMG performed correctly?
I had an EMG performed this past Monday and the neurologist put the electrodes on me after measuring and marking me. He then inserted the needle and used the prong thing to shock me. Was this proper procedure? I've had one other EMG done before and that Neuro did the electrodes and shocking then did the needle part as a separate part of the test.
