Thank you Dr Sharma for your response. My daughter suffered from TM, has had good return in her LLE, partial in her RLE. 4 yr ago). She actually conts to improve in the RLE, so wondering if the B vitamins as injections, IV might be a consideration? No negatives I have been told
Hello dear and welcome to the medhelp forum. There are studies to substantiate the beneficial effects of B Vitamins in degenerative nerve diseases like diabetic neuropathy. It has been proven to help in nerve regeneration according to international Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Thiamine or B1 is used as main source of energy for axons in regeneration. B complex over 12 weeks course caused positive changes in nerve conduction and vibration perception. B1, B6 and B12 vitamins are primarily associated. There is a German study confirming the role of these 3 vitamins in nerve repair and regrowth. Hope this helps.
