I also do not sweat.  I go to the gym, work out, and just get beet red and HOT.  I am 56, fairly fit (gym 2-3 times a week).  This has become a bigger problem of late, even sitting reading, I can get really hot.  It is not like menopause, because I went thru that several years ago, and the sensation was different.  Those were sudden bouts of hot, now I just get hot and can only cool down by getting in the pool or shower.  This can happen in the dead of winter, when the temperature is cold.  I think I need to see a specialist, but don't know which kind.

Hello.

Can you provide us with some more information? How old is she? Does she have any other symptoms which you might feel significant?

There are number of causes for loss of sweating. Does she have this problem since a long time? Can she feel pain?

Some of the causes are scleroderma, Sjogren's and CIPA (congenital insensitivity to pain and anhidrosis).

Regards
