I posted recently about a brain hemorrage I had in Oct. 09. No past medical problems and no past headaches. I have had 5 month of increasly bad headaches. Feeling that my head is being squeezed in the front and back and sharp stabbing pains in my front temples and they are tener to touch, feel like they are bruised. Since the surgery to remove the ruptured leision I have experienced partial seizures, feelings like I am just going to fall over for about 6 to 7 seconds I will have to hold on to something (I am not dizzy or feel like I am going to pass out just fall over) and little bouts of memory loss and difficulty finding words when talking to reading, it has gotten worse and worse since the surgery. I feel like my brain is just not working right. I just don't feel well and my head hurts really bad. Not a headache just pain in my head. I was just now seen by a nurologist who said that my pathology report showed CNS Vasculitis as the reason for the hemorrage in Oct. and that is very bad. He wants to look for any other secondary disease that may be causing this like Lupus. So I have done a Spinal Tap and blood work and will be doing a Brain Angiograph depending on these results. I am so bad today I can barely walk. I can't hold my head up staight without major cruel pain shooting though out my head and dropping me to the floor. I am a single mom so I am having to push through it as I have for the last 5 months. What I want to know is. The Gold Bar Standard for diagnosising CNS Vasculitis is Biopsy and since the pathology from the rupture came back as that then why the testing. CNS Vasculitis is very dangerous and I have been having issues untreated and unseen by anyone for 5 months. Also, why can't I have anything to help with the pain of dealing with it. Cause frankly this is almost unbearable.
