renal tubular metabolic acidodsis/cerebral palsy

Hi well, into the 5th week he started vomiting all of his bottles i knew this was not normal as i have 2 older sons so i took kodie to our local hospital and they told me to make sure he had a certain amount of fluids and i took kodie home this continued for another day i couldnt bare to see him power spewing all of his bottles so i took him to the childrens hospital which was 2hrs away.after arriving the doctors said it was more than likely reflux and was going to send us home i was not happy with that so i demanded blood tests it came back that kodie was acidic so we were put into a ward and sodium bicarbonate was given to neutralise his blood which seemed to have worked we were eventually sent home but had to return for further tests the second visit we noticed kodies eyes were not right he seemed to want to look only to the right so therapy started we came at him on the left and so forth the doctors decided to send him for brain ultrasounds which apparently were abnormal he then had to have a kidney ultrasound which showed calcified stones and then an m.r.i scan on the results of that they told me kodie had cerebral palsy all of this and also seeing eye specialists saying he has c.v.i anyway kodie is now 2 he understands everything going on he has therapists working with him every now and then and has been diagnosed as spastic quadraplegia cerebral palsy with trunkal weakness  weeks ago our eye specialist wanted another m.r.i done so he could check kodies eyes out again so kodie had the brain scan after getting the results kodies paedeatrician has said we dont think kodie has cerebral palsy that the m.r.i has shown change in the brain matter and if he had c.p the leisions dont change she has told me not to get excited but has referred us to see a neurologist my question is can sodium bicarbonate show up on scans as calcification because i noticed if i spilt some it turned to a white powder like substance .

that was not caused by the sodium bicarb, your son should be investigated for metabolic disease and caseine / milk plus glutein / wheat, must be well studied and then maybe stopped. did they ruled out metabolic diseases causing cp...
