STD OCD?

Is there such a thing as this? Recently, I have done some sexual recreation activities  for lack of a better term. Massage parlors with happy endings and strip clubs.Friday I went  to a strip club and got a lap dance from a girl. She unzipped my pants and kind of grinded on my penis with nothing but my underwear between us. After she was done, the area had a little white stain and was somewhat damp. Now I'm stressed about having an STD, which according to this forum is not possible. I believe the doctor that explained why it isn't possible, I understand the science and biology of STD transmission, but my brain won't let it go. What kind of treatment is recommended for this. Meaning both sexual addiction and OCD. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey there....Is there such a thing as STD OCD?  Absolutely.  It may fall under health-related OCD or health-related anxiety but big whoop...you are still stuck on it right!

So looks like you are saying you have both a sex addiction that you would like help with as well as the thought rumination.  So ideally you should see a psychologist.  There may be ones that are better with sex addiction than OCD and vice versa or they may actually fall under the same umbrella and a good psychologist that specializes in OCD will work.  When you look for someone, ask them if they can treat you for both disorders.

In the mean time, try your best to stay away from situations that are going to throw your mind over the proverbial cliff.  It might be hard with the sex addiction and honestly I don't have a short-term answer for that because I have never experienced it.  Perhaps masturbation will suffice until you get the proper help?  And whatever you do, DO NOT do internet searches.  They will only make your OCD worse.  And seeking reassurance doesn't work either because you only feel better for a short amount of time before you mind says "but wait...."

Let me know how it is going for you...
