More Questions for Dr. Gross

Hi Dr. Gross,

Yes I am seeing a Ortho MD in Albany next week who just deals with shoulder and arms. My arm has gotten so much worse since the tenotomy. The pain is upper bicep, anterior. My ROM is terrible and I have weakness in hand and arm now. It is challenging even to hold a cup of tea.
Do you think going in agian artroscopic would be a option? Also I have so much cramping pain in that area, feels like my arm and shoulder will dislocate, do you think reattaching the bicep tendon would be a option?

Also in your opinion from the MRI resulys does the shoulder arthritis sound SEVERE?

Thanx for answer. Forgot to mention also I have fibromylagia. I just seem to have so many things going on. Also had a total knee replacement last Nov. and my kneecap keeps going out and my knee is painful and I fall. I will ask this new Doc also Tuesday about my knee. Maybe the lateral release would work on it. They don't cut any of the ligaments though on the side when they put the total knee in? I will get my shoulder taken care of first. The pain is just overbearing in my bicep.

From the report alone, it does NOT sound severe. But I have not seen the images, not have I examined you.  Again, it really is not wise to offer opinions base on an MRI report alone. I think its a good idea for you to wait and see what your new orhtopedist has to say.
