Adenomyosis Update

I hope someone can answer a few questions I have.  I have adenomyosis, fiboids, and cysts on my ovaries. Also a lobular, slightly enlarged uterus.  This I found out several months back through CT and tvu. I still don't know if it's benign or malig. as I haven't been back to the Dr. yet. Previous history of two complex cysts removed a few years back - benign; and also a cervical cone biopsy to remove stage III dysplasia. I also have a strong family history of breast and colon cancers and that is why I came this site. I have awful symptoms and pain.  Had one appt. with the gyno/onco in January and he took a wait and see (one month) approach. THEY postponed the appt. for 2/22 until 3/23 and I couldn't make it on 3/23. They did a pap at the Jan. appt. and it was abnormal as well. I know I need to reschedule with the Dr. for tvu and consult, but I'm hoping some of you gals can help me here. I'm still having alot of right sided pain (they thought it was kidney stone way back - that's when they found the cyst through CT) and still look as though I'm five mos. pregnant - I'm skinny everywhere else. NOW a new problem has arised. The new problem is that I have gone 33 days w/o my period. This is EXTREMELY abnormal for me. I have never ever gone more than 27 days (except when I've been pregnant and that I am not!). As I've read some posts here, I'm wondering if blood is building up now in the lining along with the adeno. Any help would be greatly appreiated. Thanks.

PLEASE PLEASE...I have adenomyosis,,cysts on ovaries...enlarged uterus....Please ladies try natural progesterone cream....you can get it at compounding pharmacies dr's can prescribe it but you have to find the right dr....I know you are all suffering...I have been suffereing with nonstop heavy bleeding ...gone thru 2 d and c's couldnt get the mirena IUD  in birth control pills made me Hemmorage.. and the only hope for me was hysterectomy and I wasnt having that no matter what!!!  but Im living a life now without the bleeding...no pain and best of all I feel better than I have in  years all due to this cream....the ones over the counter do not help enough ....Natpro that you can find on progesteronetherapy.com is wonderful....but mostly find a Dr that knows what he/she is doing...I had to leave my OBGYN of 13yrs because she refused to even talk about natural progesterone cream.....You will be so happy to have the relief from pain with this cream but High doses are needed in the beginning! I was so depressed I felt there was no need for me to be alive with all the issues I had...now im happy, social and back to my old self. I sleep at night better andhave energy all day. My aches and pains are gone...I have no hot flashes, cramping or best of ALL BLEEDING. it doesnt hurt to try! The website I listed here helped me tremendously but there are tons of Doctors who can help also...but the info on the website is wonderful and I Hope you all take a look just to learn....investigate...i wouldnt wish what i went thru on my worst enemy! This cream can also be used for Fibroids, endometriousis and numerous conditions...AMAZING

with love,
Christina

I recently had surgery for adenomyosis. Well it turned out it was a combo of adenomyosis fibroid tissue and the center was blood. The Dr feels in my case it was localized. the problem with adenomyosis is it does not hurt you like cancer but it can be very painful that is why Dr's take a conservative approach. If your Uterus is inlarged chances are the adenomyosis is spread throughout the walls. If it is the only way to cure your pain is a hysterectomy. If it is in a local area they might be able the remove the mass. They found mine through ultrasound the Dr did not an imigaing center. This is some what complex so I would make sure your Dr has had many surgeries and patients with adenomyosis which is actually endometreosis trapped in the uterine wall. Good luck :)

here I am complaining and absorbing all your time and you are having your own  troubles...listen, first off you should see another doctor as soon as you can..you should not be walking around suffering and being in pain and especially not know what is going on...Call your doctor and if he cant see you right away then find a doctor that will..we sometimes have to be our own doctors so please get in touch with one right away.  feel better and i am always here if you need me.
