I recently had an ovary and fallopian tube removed laproscopically (2.5 weeks ago). the mass turned out to be a boarderline malignant tumor - not cancer. so no other surgery is scheduled at this time, just follow ups. I also have stage 3 endometriosis, with minimal sympotms (just lots of bloating and digestion pain, no period pain). CA125 is 58.
Anyhow, I am still in a decent amt of pain from the surgery, and wasn't sure if that is normal. I feel like a pain constantly calling the docs w/questions, so hoped it could be answered here. The pain is not at the larger incision site, it is more inside, where I image the tube connected to the uterus. It comes with coughing/laughing/moving the wrong way - a sharp, burning, stabbing kind of pain that will go away quickly once I stop. I've been wearing loose elastic waist pants and sundresses since surgery, but tried to put on a regular pair of jeans (one size larger than normal, i am still quite bloated/swollen, can't really use my stomach muscles to suck it in!) the other day and the pain was unbearable. The second I buttoned and zipped, and it lasted for a minute or two after I unbuttoned. I would have thought that would be gone by now, no?
Should I make a trip to the dr. or is this normal?
Thanks.
