TVUS today

Hi, today I'm going in for my ultrasound.  I've wanted to post about my fear but thought it would be silly to do that before anything conclusive was found.  But, here I am.  I'm scared.  Scared of what they will find and what they won't find. I know that sounds odd but if it's nothing GYN related then I fear I'll be on a long road to finding whatever it is that's going on.  I've tried to look into all the symptoms online. A lot of dx come up but when I look at the symptoms of each and check whether I have one or another, more things about OC come up.  When I had my ovary and cyst removed last Nov I didn't have this fullness after eating small amounts.  That has been going on for at least 2 months.  Last month I finally stared paying attention to it.  It was found that I have endometriosis after the Nov surgery.  I wonder if it could be causing some problems?

This forum seems to be a safe place to voice my concerns.  When I tell people what's going on they kind of give me a look that says don't worry about it.  Or they say that it could be 11 other things. I guess if a person hasn't lived it they don't know. Up until today I've kept a pretty good check on reality.  = )

Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder.

Hi, My ultrasound didn't show anything!  That's good.  The Dr wants me to have a CT scan of the abdomen, including pelvic.  I'm doing that on Friday.  Then I'll see a GI specialist.  I've gotta find out what is going on.

Thank you both for your kind words.  I really appreciate it.  You both have been on such a long journey.  Thank you for taking time out of your own day to comfort others.

Most of us have very loving, supportive caregivers and friends but they can't understand all that we go through and the worries we sometimes keep to ourselves so we don't worry them.  This is a place where you are accepted for who you are today.  I say today because it is one day at a time.  Today you are afraid, another day you will be uplifted, another, tired but happy.  Some people are at the beginning of their OVCA journey and some have questions and will hopefully never join us on this road.  Whatever kind of day you are having we are here for  you.  Hope you get some reassuring news.

What better place to come and chat,  with women from all over the world. Since most have been there and done that, we do understand your fears and emphasize with you. Anyone with the knowledge of our female problems can relate to the stress you are undergoing right now.  Sure hope it turned out to be something that can be taken care of easily.  You might just possibly have some adhesions that are beginning to cause your distress along with the endo.  Let us know how you come out.
